About Us

After a week of struggling to get out of bed, for golf we get up at the crack of dawn. Some of us get to the driving range an hour early to practice before we play, others get their 2 minutes before and run to the tee, breakfast and coffee in hand. Golf is the only game you can play with people better than you and still be competitive. *Pretends we have a chance of beating Tiger Woods*. We regularly ask ourselves the age old question ‘why do we love golf so much’? Despite it being the most frustrating game - one day you feel like you’ve cracked it and the next you can barely hold a golf club – for us, it’s where we get away from it all (and by that, we mean “loved” ones and all responsibilities), there’s no better way to [unwind] than to swing a club with mates for four hours (or eight 🍻……) and then spend another few hours at the 19th hole. Ultimately, golf is fun, but golf shirts are not. Golf Chimp was dreamt up from the frustration of bland golf attire. We want to bring colour to the course (and really just a distraction from our terrible scores).   Golf Chimp was created by Scott, who wanted to bring out the fun(ner) side of Golf. He designed the Golf Chimp shirts mostly so he can think about Golf without playing it.
